I’m a casual bicyclist, and it suits my purposes perfectly. I was going to pay a local bicycle shop to put it together, but they said that it would take a month for them to get to it, so I put it together myself. Turns out assembly was a breeze. The handle bar came pre-assembled with shifters and breaks already attached, I just had to bolt it down. I just needed to add the tires which are quick release and the seat, and it was ready to go! (A mountain bike that I used to own was a nightmare, the gears chattered, the brakes were difficult to adjust and the handle bar was almost impossible to tighten completely, it took forever to assemble, which is why I was willing to pay for the assembly of this one.)The bike seat wasn’t comfortable at first because I haven’t ridden in years. I just needed to get used to it. It’s fine now.The shifting is excellent, no chatter. The click shifters are so easy that I don’t even think about changing gears when the peddling gets easier or harder. I never had click shifters before, and I don’t want to go without them ever again on a bicycle. The grip shifters on my old mountain bike would cause me to accidentally shift gears when I was going over bumps from time to time. The mountain bikes that I used to own, always felt small like I was trying to ride a child size bike. This hybrid feels like an adult bike to me, and really is a complete joy to ride. I quit riding my last bike when I hit a rock and was thrown over the handle bars and landed on my face. This bike feels like that is less likely to happen. The disc brakes are great, they work when the tires get wet, no slipping!Even though the hybrid bike is taller than my last mountain bike, it feels lighter. The peddle crank also feels like it’s longer than the old mountain bike, giving me a more comfortable stroke, which I like. For its price, $350, I don’t know if I could have gotten a better bike.
